Installation

Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/searchpro directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.

FAQ

Why is the plugin slug searchpro when your product is called BerqWP?: Early in development we registered our plugin under the searchpro namespace on ww.wp.xz.cn. Unfortunately, ww.wp.xz.cn doesn’t allow slugs to be renamed once created. Rest assured, this is only a directory name. Every feature, every update, and every bit of our branding is still BerqWP. You won’t see “Search Pro” anywhere in the UI, URLs, or your dashboards after installation.
How does BerqWP work?: BerqWP offers two optimization methods. With Local, the plugin runs core optimizations directly on your server using PHP, with no account or license needed. With BerqWP Cloud, the plugin sends only your page URL and plugin settings to our servers. Our Photon Engine then fetches and processes everything directly using Cloudflare Workers, applies every optimization on our cloud infrastructure, and stores the fully optimized HTML back on your site as cache. Nothing else leaves your server.
What are the requirements to run BerqWP?: All you need is a WordPress website running on PHP 7.4 or above.
Which web servers are supported?: You can use BerqWP on a WordPress website running on Apache, Nginx, and LiteSpeed web servers.
Do I get BerqWP CDN on all plans?: Yes, you can access BerqWP CDN with all of our plans. You can enable or disable the BerqWP CDN from the plugin settings page.

Can I use any external CDN if I want to?: Yes, you can switch to any CDN you want. CDN plugins are also supported by BerqWP.

BerqWP is honestly the best WordPress performance plugin I have tested so far. It is very easy to configure, even without being a technical expert, and the results are excellent. The plugin is clear, efficient, and extremely powerful. What I really like is that it improves performance without making the setup complicated. Everything feels simple, clean, and effective. This plugin I used on my website and it was simply amazing; the speed performance of PSI is 90+ always and the site speed was also good.But there is some problem that needs improvement in CDN performance. Overall great product!

The plugin used to work just fine, to an extent, with a bunch of smaller issues which we rectified with custom code instead (the developer to this day refuses to acknowledge those issues and/or fix them in his code and keeps ignoring our repeat reminders of those issues), but in the last month or two the functionality of the plugin has degraded so much, even after so many updates and “improvements”, to the point where it doesn’t even cache pages anymore – it says it will start caching within 5 minutes, but 2 days later we have yet to see a single page cached.A single developer behind the plugin with no support team doesn’t help the situation, as I’m sure he is getting slammed with support tickets (which he rarely answers – we’ve gotten some sort of a response or two after a few weeks but only after repeat follow-ups to our issues), and as such this plugin has turned into a dead weight, something with tons of promises but zero delivery whatsoever.Seems like we’ll have to remove it from a few dozen sites we installed it on and replace it with something more reliable instead, as anything at this point would work so much better than this plugin. The developer of this plugin has bit more than he could chew on this one, apparently, and now it’s starting to show, and he refused to hire help (developers or tech support) to fix the ongoing issues that have been lingering for months and are affecting the basic, core functionality of the plugin.

For a normal WP site, in my case built with Brizy, it even works in aggressive mode without breaking things. A year ago it broke the same site. Meanwhile the developers obviously improved this. On FlyWP, Alwyzon and Cloudflare the site is fast, but didn’t have good pagespeedinsights, gtmetrix scores. With the plugin perfect scores. I think best is to avoid mixing it with any other optimization plugins like image optimization. And don’t mix it with Cloudflare rocket loader or similar. So finally I think this is the perfect few click wp optimization plugin working seemlessly with cloudflare.

Update: Removed BerqWP, latest version cached cart/ and checkout/ page even is mentioned in settings to not cache!!! Update:The latest versions of the plugin have partially fixed the reported problems, but the problem of slow automatic generation of cache pages remained.Review:I already had a caching solution that I was happy with but I was looking for an option to improve my Core Web Vitals score. I searched the net and got the recommendation to test BerqWP. The initial result was WOW, the cache started immediately, the Core Web Vitals scores immediately went from red to green almost to maximum. The application was limited to the Free version to 10 demo pages, so I paid for the first Starter level which offers 100 cache pages and the first problems appeared, the cache was generated very slowly, in some cases after 2-3 days. After about a month the cache problems also appeared, the pictures no longer appeared on the site regardless of the settings. I also tried the next level Business Site in the hope that the WOW plugin from a month ago returns to its initial performance, but at the same time the Core Web Vitals scores returned to the initial red values. I was unable to resolve the issues regardless of the settings, I was left with the impression that the demo version is tweaked and offers enough resources to make you pay, then the performance is set aside after you activate the subscriptions.
