It was over 3,500 words with links. I did NOT want to copy and paste since I was afraid of having to rebuild the formatting as I have before. THIS PLUGIN SOLVED MY PROBLEM! So easy to install and use! It is not free but well worth the small price! Sending people to the settings page is one thing, but the first thing a person sees is BIG RED boxes telling them they have to have their license and if they don’t know how to get it follow the link to your site. Very poor implementation. Free plugins hosted on WordPress.org are supposed to be fully functional when downloaded unless it is made clear that there is a service requirement for that plugin. You do not provide any clear indication of such requirement. As far as I am concerned this is just another gimmick to get people registered on your website so you can try and sell your product via the WordPress.org Repository. Spam. Images got auto-uploaded. Content imported. Upgraded to Premium as I had over 60+ docs. Saved me hours of work! Sure, it does NOT have the option to generate or clean the Word HTML code it produces. But it does do quick imports and automatically uploads the images from the document as well. I’m going to have to get another plugin to clean up the code but in a site where I have about 60+ Word Docs (and multiple pages in each doc), this has been a real sanity saver. Yes, the free version only gives you 8 imports but I personally have not found any other alternative that works so easily. Plus for commercial sites, the premium version is extremely affordable. SUGGESTION: Please offer the option to strip all word html( and convert them to regular html tags like bold, paragraph etc) from the import as well – that would be worthy of 5 stars. I realise this would mean that the end result wouldn’t be as close to the Word doc as possible – but let the user decide if that’s what they want. Thank you so much for this plugin!
