## Description
**[SnapImpact](http://snapimpact.org/) is a free location-aware service that makes
it easy for people to find volunteer opportunities and get involved in their communities.**
**The SnapImpact Plugin:**

## Installation
**Upgrading?**
* Please **Deactivate** the previous SnapImpact Plugin first.
**Installation**
1. Upload the SnapImpact Plugin folder to **/wp-content/Plugins/**
2. Login to your WordPress admin web page.
3. Activate the Plugin:
4. * Click on the **Plugins** tab.
* Find SnapImpact in the list of Inactive Plugins (or Recently Active Plugins).
* Click on **Activate** to activate the SnapImpact Plugin.
5. Configure the Plugin:
6. * Click on **Settings**.
* Click on **SnapImpact**.
* Enter your SnapImpact options.
* Press the **Save** button to save the SnapImpact options.
7. Add the Plugin as a sidebar widget:
8. * Click on **Appearance** (or Design).
* Click on **Widgets**.
* On the left side, next to SnapImpact, click on **Add** to make it appear in
the list of **Current Widgets**.
* Click on **Save Changes**.
9. If your theme DOES NOT support widgets, place the following line of code in your
sidebar file (e.g. sidebar.php):

11. Local volunteer opportunities should now appear in your sidebar.
