Only text is displayed – HTML is stripped out. End-of-line characters are displayed as HTML \”Breaks\” ## Screenshots [⌊These are the widget options⌉⌊These are the widget options⌉[ These are the widget options [⌊This is the widget in action⌉⌊This is the widget in action⌉[ This is the widget in action ## Installation There are three possibilities: *Use the standard WordPress Plugins > “Add New” procedure (Recommended) or *Download the plugin file from WordPress.org and the Upload the Zip file Add Plugin > Upload or *Download the plugin file from WordPress.org, then manually upload the unzipped folder (text-file-widget) into wp-content/plugins Then *Activate the plugin Now there will be a \”text file widget\” in the Appearance>Widgets section. Drag this to a widget location, and tell it which file you want to display and what title to give it (or none) You can have multiple instances displaying different files. ## FAQ Why is HTML stripped out? This plugin is only intended to display text.
