## Description

TraceSignals makes marketing tracking effortless for WooCommerce stores. Send your
conversion data to GA4, Google Ads, and Meta (Facebook) Pixel in minutes — no developer
needed.

**Supported platforms**

 * GA4 (Google Analytics)
 * Google Ads
 * Meta (Facebook) Pixel

Configure one or all three. Each event below is sent to every platform you enable,
mapped to that platform’s standard eCommerce event.

**One-Click Setup**
 Enter your Measurement ID or Pixel ID, save, and you’re done.
No coding required.

**Multi-Pixel Support**
 Track all your enabled platforms simultaneously from a
single settings screen.

**eCommerce events tracked**

 * Product / page views — fires when a shopper views a product or page
 * Add to cart — fires when an item is added to the cart
 * View cart / remove from cart — fires on cart changes
 * Begin checkout — fires when checkout is initiated
 * Purchase — fires on a completed order, including order revenue

This means you get full funnel visibility, from first product view through to completed
purchase with revenue attribution.

**Standards Compliant**

 * No external dependencies bundled with the plugin
 * Follows standard WordPress coding practices
 * Secure (nonce verification, sanitization, escaping)
 * Translation ready

**Perfect For**

 * Store owners who want a simple analytics setup
 * Marketers who need accurate conversion attribution

#### External services

This plugin connects to external analytics services (Google Analytics and Meta/Facebook
Pixel) to track user interactions and conversions on your site.

Depending on your configuration, it sends page views, product interactions, and
eCommerce purchase data (including order totals and product IDs) to these services
when users browse your storefront. This data is required to provide conversion attribution
and remarketing capabilities.

 * **Google Analytics / Google Ads:** Data is sent directly to Google’s servers.
   See the [Google Terms of Service](https://policies.google.com/terms) and [Google Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy).
 * **Meta (Facebook) Pixel:** Data is sent directly to Meta’s servers. See the [Meta Terms of Service](https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms)
   and [Meta Privacy Policy](https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/).

By using this plugin you acknowledge that the data described above is transmitted
to the third-party services you configure.

## FAQ

### Do I need an analytics account?

Yes. You should have an account with a supported analytics provider (Google Analytics/
Google Ads or Meta) before configuring the plugin.

### Is this privacy compliant?

The plugin uses standard data anonymization by default. You are responsible for
managing user consent according to the regulations that apply to you (such as GDPR
or CCPA). The plugin does not store personal data in your local database — all tracking
happens client-side via your chosen analytics platform.

### Does this slow down my site?

No. The tracking scripts load asynchronously and are extremely lightweight.

### Does it work with WooCommerce?

Yes. eCommerce event tracking (product views, add to cart, checkout, and purchase
conversions with revenue) is built for WooCommerce stores.
