This is meant to be a simple tool for both both savvy and novice WordPress users alike.<\/p>\n\n<p>At the moment, this plugins creates a contact form with the shortcode <code>[proper_contact_form]<\/code> that works on any page. Users have the option to:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Choose the fields that appear<\/li>\n<li>Create an auto-respond email<\/li>\n<li>Redirect contact submissions to a new page (helpful for goal tracking)<\/li>\n<li>Store contacts in the database<\/li>\n<li>Over-ride label names and error messages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Features in the works:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Additional style options<\/li>\n<li>Ability to add custom fields to the form<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Get the absolute latest at the <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/joshcanhelp\/proper-contact-form\">Github repo<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<!--section=installation-->\n<p>Activating the Proper Contact Form plugin is just like any other plugin. If you've uploaded the plugin package to your server already, skip to step 5 below:<\/p>\n\n<ol>\n<li>In your WordPress admin, go to <strong>Plugins &gt; Add New<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>In the Search field type \"proper contact form\"<\/li>\n<li>Under \"PROPER Contact Form,\" click the <strong>Install Now<\/strong> link<\/li>\n<li>Once the process is complete, click the <strong>Activate Plugin<\/strong> link<\/li>\n<li>Now, you're able to add contact forms but, first, we could configure a few settings. These can be found at <strong>Settings &gt; Proper Contact<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Make the changes desired, then click the <strong>Save changes<\/strong> button at the bottom<\/li>\n<li>To add this form to any page or post, just copy\/paste or type \"[proper_contact_form]\" into the page or post content and save.
