Ackuna is powered by Google Translate and combines all its translation \nfunctionality into one small, easy to use button. Once installed, the button will appear at the top of the individual posts.<\/p>\n\n

  1. Upload ackuna-language-translation-plugin to the \/wp-content\/plugins\/ directory<\/li>\n
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.<\/li>\n
  3. Go to the settings page and update your blog's language and your button style preferences.<\/li>\n
  4. If your button does not function, you may want to check the \"use valid jQuery\" checkbox. (Caution: may cause conflicts with other plugins or themes.)<\/li>\n
  5. If you are using any caching plugins, such as WP Super Cache, you will need to clear your cached pages after updating your Translate settings.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

    When will you be adding support for new languages?<\/dt>\n

    Since the button uses Google Translate, we have no control of when new languages will be available. Once Google \ndoes add a new language, we try to add support for that language as quickly as possible.<\/p><\/dd>\n

    Google Translate added a new language, and it's not available through Translate by Ackuna. Why is that?<\/dt>\n

    When Google Translate adds a new language it is not automatically available through Ackuna. This is because we must make internal changes \nto our plugin script telling it the language is available and how to handle it. Also, we need to add a flag image for that language. We make \nevery effort to keep the plugin's available language list as up to date as possible.<\/p><\/dd>\n\n<\/dl>\n\n\n
