WordPress doesn't automatically notify the author of a post about waiting comments. Instead all comment moderation requests go to the admins.<\/p>\n\n

This plugin will notify the author of the post as well as the admin. This will allow the author to moderate the comments too.<\/p>\n\n\n

  1. Download the plugin<\/p><\/li>\n

  2. Extract the contents of moderation-notify-author.zip to wp-content\/plugins\/ folder. You should get a folder called moderation-notify-author.<\/p><\/li>\n

  3. Activate the Plugin in WP-Admin.<\/p><\/li>\n

  4. Goto Settings > Notify Author to configure<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n
