The full company name is displayed in a tooltip when the symbol is moused-over.  The date and time of the first quote in the list is displayed at the bottom of the list.<\/p>\n\n<p>When a user hovers over the day's change, a tooltip displays a chart of the\nstock's performance over a configurable time period.<\/p>\n\n<p>Other functions include placing a separator bar between subsets of stock\nquotes, changing the date\/time format, and displaying both static quotes and\nrandom selections from a list of symbols.<\/p>\n\n<p>Note: Please see the FAQ section for an important note about the Dow Jones\nIndustrial Average.<\/p>\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/svn.wp-plugins.org\/stock-quote-sidebar\/trunk\/change.log\">Change Log<\/a><\/p>\n\n<!--section=installation-->\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>PHP 5<\/li>\n<li>cURL support must be enabled<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Steps:<\/p>\n\n<ol>\n<li>Extract the plugin's zip file in your '\/wp-content\/plugins' directory<\/li>\n<li>Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress<\/li>\n<li>Configure the plugin in the 'Options', 'Stock Quote Sidebar'<\/li>\n<li>Place the widget, or if you prefer, Place the plugin's PHP code where you want it in the sidebar PHP file.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>You can use the plugin in two ways, to generate different lists of stocks in different places.<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><p>Specify a list of symbols in the options page<\/p>\n\n<blockquote>\n  <p>To use this approach, simply enable the widget, or manually insert the following code where you want the quotes to appear:\n  <code>&lt;?php get_stock_quote(); ?&gt;<\/code><\/p>\n<\/blockquote><\/li>\n<li><p>Specify a list of symbols in the php function within your WordPress template<\/p>\n\n<blockquote>\n  <p>To use this option, call the same function with the symbols as a parameter:\n  <code>&lt;?php get_stock_quote(\"^IXIC,^GSPC,NOVL,ko,pfe,intc\"); ?&gt;<\/code>\n  This approach is not currently supported with the widget.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<!--section=faq-->\n<dl>\n<dt>How do I use the plugin with the K2 theme?<\/dt>\n<dd><p>Stock Quote Sidebar will now show up as an option in the K2 Sidebar Manager!\nIf you wish, you can also add a 'Text, HTML and PHP' module to your sidebar called 'Stock Quotes'.  In the\ncode area, enter <code>&lt;?php get_stock_quote(); ?&gt;<\/code>.<\/p>\n\n<p>The latest revisions contain some CSS fixes to ensure compatibility with the\nCSS in K2.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt>Why doesn't the Dow Jones Industrial Average (^DJI or INDU) display?<\/dt>\n<dd><p>Yahoo no longer provides CSV\/XML download of the DJIA, due to restrictions\nimposed by Dow Jones.
