Provides universal Single Sign-On feature so that WordPress can use the vBulletin user database to manage authentication\nand user profile data. There is documentation available so that it can be extended to other platforms.<\/p>\n\n

This plugin is provided as is. Support and additional customizations are available at an hourly rate.<\/p>\n\n

Plugin doesn't share any user related information with any third party side. It strongly synchronizes the information\nbetween your own platforms connected personally to your vBulletin instance.<\/p>\n\n

Plugin doesn't revert already sync data back to its original state if you decide to disable plugin later.<\/p>\n\n

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.<\/p>\n\n

Installation<\/h4>\n\n
    \n
  1. Download WordPress vBSSO.<\/li>\n
  2. Unzip and upload folder \"vbsso\" to \/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code> directory of your WordPress installation<\/li>\n
  3. Log in to WordPress as administrator.<\/li>\n
  4. Navigate to Plugins<\/code> or Network -> Plugins<\/code> (in case of enabled network) section and activate vBSSO plugin.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    Configuration<\/h4>\n\n
      \n
    1. Log in to your vBulletin control panel as administrator.<\/li>\n
    2. Navigate to vBSSO<\/code> section.<\/li>\n
    3. Modify your default Platform Shared Key by setting it to more secure unreadable phrase to encrypt exchanged data.<\/li>\n

    4. Save Changes.<\/p><\/li>\n

    5. Log in to your vBulletin control panel as administrator.<\/p><\/li>\n

    6. Navigate to vBSSO<\/code> section.<\/li>\n
    7. Expand section and click on the Platforms<\/code> link.<\/li>\n
    8. Copy Platform Url<\/code> link and Shared Key<\/code> field from WordPress installation to vBulletin.<\/li>\n
    9. Click on Connect<\/code> button to connect your new platform.<\/li>\n
    10. Back to WordPress vBSSO Settings page and verify that API Connections fields are filled out.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

      SSL Configuration<\/h4>\n\n

      1. Modify wp-config.php<\/li>\n
      2. Add the following code \"define('FORCE_SSL_ADMIN', true);\" without quotes to top of the configuration file.<\/li>\n
      3. Add the following code \"define('FORCE_SSL_LOGIN', true);\" without quotes to top of the configuration file.\nIt's important to have SSL settings at the beginning of configuration file.
