This plugin lets you easily edit the footer credit text for Storefront theme from customizer. No need for any code.<\/p>\n\n

This plugin is built to work only for the Storefront theme<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

How to use:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

  1. Navigate to Customizer page under Appearance.<\/li>\n
  2. Find the Footer Section.<\/li>\n
  3. Under the Footer section, you will find a text area for you to enter your custom credit text.<\/li>\n
  4. You can use html tags like the hyperlinks tags.<\/li>\n
  5. You can also use %current_year% and %copy% to display the current year and the copyright icon respectively.<\/li>\n
  6. Just save after you're done.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

    Install via the WordPress Dashboard:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

    1. Login to your WordPress Dashboard.<\/li>\n
    2. Navigate to Plugins, and select add new to go to the \"Add Plugins\" page.<\/li>\n
    3. In the right side, enter \"Storefront Footer Text\" in the search input bar, and hit your enter key.<\/li>\n
    4. Click install, and wait for the plugin to download. Once done, activate the plugin.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

      Install via FTP:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

      1. Extract the zip file, login using your ftp client, and upload the storefront-site-logo folder to your \/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code> directory<\/li>\n
      2. Login to your WordPress Dashboard.<\/li>\n
      3. go to plugins and activate \"Storefront Footer Text\" plugin.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

        Will this plugin work for themes other than Storefront?<\/h3><\/dt>\n

        Unfortunately, No. This plugin was designed to work for the Storefront theme, utilizing Storefront's action hooks and filters. Activating the plugin while using a different theme will trigger a warning.<\/p><\/dd>\n

        The settings for this plugin can be found in the Customizer page under Appearance. In that page, find the section named \"Footer\".<\/p><\/dd>\n\n<\/dl>\n\n\n
