The NFB Video Plugin is designed to allow users to embed videos \nfrom sites who provide autodiscoverable oembed links on their \nfilm pages.<\/p>\n\n
Previously, to embed a film, we had to provide the entire object\nor embed the information ourselves; we had to play with the sizes\nand hope that we didn't break it.<\/p>\n\n
When a site contains autodiscovery, you only need to enter \"oe\"\nfollowed by the pasted link and it will seek out the embed\nand set it to the size you defined.<\/p>\n\n

Set 1 size for all your embeds!<\/p>\n\n\n
Upload nfb_video_plugin to your plugin directory\nwp-content\/plugins\/nfb_video_plugin<\/p><\/li>\n
Go to the Plug-ins tab in your administration panel and\nactivate the plugin.<\/p><\/li>\n
Take a page from a site like NFB.ca like : \n http:\/\/www.nfb.ca\/film\/louise_en\/ or http:\/\/www.onf.ca\/film\/paow_paow_te_mort\/<\/p><\/li>\n

WHAT IS OEMBED?<\/p>\n\n
oEmbed is a format for allowing an embedded representation \nof a URL on third party sites. The simple API allows a \nwebsite to display embedded content (such as photos or \nvideos) when a user posts a link to that resource, without \nhaving to parse the resource directly.<\/p>\n\n
