CommentarySandbox is an open source theme and plugin for WordPress that allows creators to develop Dickinson College Commentary-style commentaries on WordPress by juxtaposing Notes and Vocabulary to Texts. You can create introductory materials, embed images, and more.<\/p>\n\n

Please note:<\/strong> this plugin comes bundled with three official themes, one of which must be active for CommentarySandbox to function. The \"CommentPress Modern Theme\" will be auto-activated when the plugin is first activated. The old \"CommentPress Default Theme\" and \"CommentarySandbox Flat Theme\" are included for those who wish to experiment with other themes but the plugin has not been tested on these themes.<\/p>\n\n

Upgrade to CommentarySandbox<\/h4>\n\n

It is recommended that you upgrade to the latest versions of WordPress as well as the latest versions of ?CommentPress Core? theme. A minimum of WordPress 3.3 is required, but upgrades under WordPress 3.4+ work much better.<\/p>\n\n

The old ?CommentPress? plugins and theme can be found on Github:<\/p>\n\n

  2. Get the latest CommentPress for Multisite<\/a><\/p><\/li>\n

  3. Get the latest CommentPress Ajaxified<\/a><\/p><\/li>\n

  4. Get the latest CommentPress Theme<\/a><\/p><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

    You can download and install CommentarySandbox using the built in WordPress plugin installer. If you download CommentarySandbox manually, make sure it is uploaded to \"\/wp-content\/plugins\/commentpress-core\/\".<\/p>\n\n

    Install CommentarySandbox in WordPress Standalone<\/h4>\n\n

    Base Install:<\/p>\n\n

      2. Use the Theme Customizer to modify the look<\/p><\/li>\n

        Install CommentarySandbox in WordPress Multisite<\/h4>\n\n

          2. If you want to, you can enable \"CommentarySandbox\" on your main blog<\/p><\/li>\n

          3. Network Enable the \" CommentPress Modern Theme?, UNLESS<\/p><\/li>\n

          4. You have \"CommentarySandbox\"-compatible child themes you want to use instead:<\/p><\/li>\n

          5. Network Enable any \"CommentarySandbox\"-compatible child themes you want to use<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

            Go to the \"CommentarySandbox\" network settings page under \"Settings\" in \"Network Admin\":<\/p>\n\n
