A simple plugin to count and display the number of visitors on your blog posts (i.e. a read count).\nIt distinguishes between robots, registered human, and non registered humans.\nThe data is stored in a database table by the name of 'hitcounter'.<\/p>\n\n

Place <?php userViews(); ?><\/code> in your template files to output the number of views by humans.\nThe default output will be <span class=\"views\">Views: 100<\/span><\/code><\/p>\n\n

If you want to override the output use <?php userViews('<div class=\"viewers\">Wow, ',' people read this.<\/div>'); ?><\/code>\nWhich would output: <div class=\"viewers\">Wow, 100 people read this.<\/div><\/code><\/p>\n\n\n
