“Private” Files?

    Ian,

    Phil turned this over to me… I’m Carol.

    It seems that we used to be able to restrict files from users (Subscribers) and left them only accessible to Admins and Editors in the mdocs settings page.

    Is there something changed in mdocs to not allow for this access restriction?

    Phil is not sure, and we are researching this, any feedback or insight is appreciated.

    setting has changed recently, it has become more robust. If you want to hide post and pages from subscribers you would have to uncheck them from this setting “View Private Posts and Pages”

    If you want to have files hidden from users you must make the the options “Hide all Files” checked then you have to add the role Editor to each file you want editors to be able to see.

    In general nothing has changed.
