Clicking button ‘Create New Package’ not working

    Setup: Duplicator v.1.2.52, free licence. I am trying to create a new package on the remote host w/o success. Hitting the ‘Create button’ freezes the process ie no notifications (Steps, etc.) appear. The same plugin version works fine on my local machine. Also, previous versions worked w/o problems on the remote host.

    I uninstalled/reinstalled the plugin and disabled a number of other plugins (AutoOptimizer, WordFence Security, etc) to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

    You might try a previous version or even the Beta version:

    Thanks for your prompt feedback.

    Unfortunately, the same problem occurs with v.1.2.48. Assuming the issue is caused by other plugins, what strategy would you suggest: a. temporarily deactivating/deleting all plugins in one go, b. proceeding with these steps in sequence for each plugin or c. trying another alternative ? Currently, I am running WP v.4.9.8 . Again, thanks for your assistance.

    I would first temporarily try a different theme, sometimes it can be a theme. If it’s not the theme, then I would deactivate half of your plugins and test if this still fails then try the other half this way you can quickly narrow down the issues by seeing which set up deactivation attempts its in.
