  • Hi @pamuje,

If the other emails are sending fine that means that the email functionality in Forminator is working fine and it’s most likely something that needs to be investigated with Sendgrid.

Just to be sure about this I tested Forminator on my end with Yahoo email and had no issues with receiving it.

I would suggest checking your Spam/Junk folder first to see if it ended up there, and if not you should get in touch with Sendgrid about this so they can have a look at your email logs.

    Cheers,
    Predrag

Actually this was due to entering the person’s email address into the ‘from’ field. Yahoo’s DMARC policies don’t allow emails to be sent through another service, so we would not receive any email from a Yahoo address.

This can be solved by entering a ‘no-reply@yourdomain’ in the ‘from’ address, and the enquirer’s email in the ‘reply-to’ address. However, the issue now is that all emails fall into the same Conversation because the ‘subject’ and the ‘from’ are the same for all enquiries. Some enquiries are therefore getting lost, embedded into existing conversations… Conversation mode is default in Gmail or Outlook and very useful to keep track of an email trail.

Being able to tailor the subject with a dynamic shortcode would solve this but it does not seem to be an option? Shame because without this, the system can’t be used as the risk of losing business is too great.

You can change the subject of the email. Please check the example from my site:

It will result in a different subject for each submission.

Is this what you are looking for?

    kind regards,

I am having this problem as well. I thought it was just with Yahoo but seems to be random. Please help!

    Hello there @tribbles,

could you please create a separate thread about this and collaborate a bit more on your findings? 🙂
