Grid View not working

When I add the events layout shortcode, no events appear. it doesn’t say that there are no events it just goes blank. It works if I take that piece away.I’d just like to have the grid view with smaller pictures set up.

I currently have:

[event_listing events_layout=”grid” event_category=”eventz” ]
