Hi there,

I was wondering how I could add get_author_posts_url() to the registered users. That way, if a user clicks on a registered user’s profile pic or name, they would be directed to the correct url.

Any ideas?

Hi @jfantasybooks,

Please navigate to Dashboard > Comments > Settings > Comment List admin page, make sure the “Disable Profiles URL” option is unchecked.

Hi there. Thanks for getting to me. This option enables only those who have at least ‘author’ status, but I would like to enable it for ‘subscribers’ as well.

Any idea how?

Hi @jfantasybooks,

As subscribers don’t have permission to create posts on WordPress, so the get_author_posts_url() cannot be added in subscribers’ avatar or name.

Of course, you can customize and add it manually, however, you’ll get 404 error in this case.
