    Hi,

I upgraded to the latest version today. (Recently purchased this paid version and this was my first upgrade after that). It says I need WPRM for this upgrade. I used WPRM free version earlier, and it’s probably somewhere saved in WP, but I don’t see it. When I try to install a new one, it says it already exists.

All my recipes have become like paragraphs now, and the card isn’t there after this upgrade.

    Please help. Thanks.

If it’s telling you the destination folder already exists and you don’t see it on the plugins page you might have to manually delete the /wp-content/plugins/wp-recipe-maker folder before installing it again.

Your webhost should be able to do that for you as well if you’re not sure where to start.

I don’t know where to delete it from.

Is there anyone on your team that can help me? I can create a guest login.

If WPRM is deleted, would that mean I will lose all the recipe cards? That would be a ton of recipe data 🙁

I am also willing to not update to a newer version and go back to the one I had before I updated this evening. It was working fine. Is there a way to do that?

They have to delete the wp-recipe-maker folder from the /wp-content/plugins/ folder.

If you just send that to your webhost support they should know what to do.

I can also do it for you but would need access to your webhost cPanel. You can email us at [email protected] for that.

Once done, you should be able to just install the WP Recipe Maker plugin again through the Plugins > Add New page to get your recipes back.

    Thank you Brecht.

I have sent the info to the above-mentioned email.
