Is constants.php replaced when plugin is updated?

    We would like to change some settings in your plugin’s constants.php. I we do this, will that file be replaced when we update the plugin in the future? What would be the best way to change some of the settings in there while also being able to update the plugin?

    Hi @cjhuddle,

    It’s generally not a file that is updated. However, a plugin update can require an update to any file, for any reason, so it’s not possible to answer this question. I recommend you keep a backup copy of your edits, in case it’s lost with an update of the plugin.
