• I am having some problems with Woocommerce. I am using the free Woocommerce plugin. A few months ago, I had no problems uploading products to my WordPress Woocommerce store. This past week when I upload a product, it will just upload the description as ‘Product” with no sku number or image. When I upload a product through T Shirt Gang, it will give you the description, a product image and a sku number. It is no longer doing this.

I use T Shirt Gang to upload my t shirt designs. T Shirt Gang uses an API to authorize Woocommerce to connect to your store. Here are the instructions from T Shirt Gang on how to set up the API and Permalinks:

To ensure your WooCommerce site can connect with Tshirtgang, please ensure your store does not have “Plain” common setting enabled.

    Login to your WordPress store

    Navigate to Settings > Permalinks

Under Common Settings, ensure one of the following are enabled: Day and name, Month and name, Numeric, Post name, Custom Structure.

Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > API > Check “Enable the REST API” setting. (older versions)

Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > Legacy API > Check “Enable the legacy REST API” setting. (newer versions)

The Tshirtgang WooCommerce integration does not support the common setting “Plain”.
    —————————————————————————————–

I followed the instructions, and no Woocommerce authorization is showing now. The pop up showed a few months ago.

I contacted T Shirt Gangs support, and then told me to send screenshots of my settings, so I did. Support got back to me and said my settings are correct. They checked their API and said it was working correctly.

I am using the Suffice Theme from ThemeGrill which supports Woocommerce.

I honestly do not know what is going on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hi,

The issue might be arising due to the plugin conflict. Have you tried disabling the used plugins one by one? Also, can you switch to a default theme like Twenty Seventeen and check if the issue still persists?

    Thanks.

    Hi Rajesh,

I followed your instructions. I disabled the plugins one by one like you said. When I applied the Twenty Seventeen theme, I then tried to upload a sample product and the issue is still there.

I am baffled why this is happening.

    Hi,

Since the issue is arising still in the default theme, it is likely the issue is arising from plugin used. Could you try contacting the plugin support forum as they might be able to provide you with a better solution?

    Thanks.
