    Hi,

We’ve tried everything we can think of but still no ecommerce data flowing to GA. We’ve double checked the enhanced ecommerce option is selected in GA, checked the option in GTM plugin to track enhanced ecommerce, added enhanced ecommerce to the GTM tag, run Google Assistant and found no errors during checkout. We also put 12 for ‘products per listing’ in the GTM plugin config to eliminate large data set issues.

    Not sure what’s missing/wrong.

    Thanks in advance.

  • The same thing is happening to me on https://theterpenestore.com.

I’ve checked GTM and all the tags are firing as required but only transaction data is showing in my analytics account. No page views or add to carts.

Perhaps we have the same problem?

    Hi @alphadogproducts

I checked your site and I can see GTM events being correctly firing with all the required product data however I do not see any GA event being fired upon those GTM events.

Could you post some screenshots about the trigger that catches gtm4wp.addProductToCartEEC, gtm4wp.changeDetailViewEEC and other enhanced ecommerce related events?

    Hi @vudanthony,

Please always open a new thread even if your issue seems to be related to other user’s issues.

I checked your site as well:
    – for some reason, two pageview hits are being sent to GA on each page load. This could be for several reasons, it is hard to tell you the answer but from what I can see, most probably it is a GTM tag setup issue which means that your GA pageview tag might fire multiple times
    – you should set a value into the Products per impression field to get a more accurate tracking of product impressions in your product lists (you will need to setup additional tags in your GTM as described at the end of the setup article: https://gtm4wp.com/how-to-articles/how-to-setup-enhanced-ecommerce-tracking)
    – I was not able to place an order without the need to use my debit card: do you have a public sandbox version of your site where you can enable the cash on delivery payment option?

    Hi Thomas,

Thanks for the help. We had our GA events set up incorrectly. All is good now.

    Appreciate your help!

    Hi Thomas,
Yes, let me start a staging site for you and get the link to that. I will activate the “cash on delivery option” on the staging site.

Regarding Page view being fired twice, I’m only seeing one tag in GA as shown by this screenshot=> https://share.getcloudapp.com/mXumgndA

I will open up a new case for this

    Thanks,
    Anthony
