We REALLY need this functionality added in. Having rules to delete these messages isn’t the optimal method to accomplish our goals.
Hi there. I no longer work at EUM, but I am familiar with the code base as I worked on the project for a while.
It’s an ambitious feature for sure and would be hard to implement. EUM doesn’t send out the emails, WordPress does. It’s like putting a traffic cop in the middle of an Interstate. EUM would have to work with core to provide a hook when they consider something to be a failure with as much update information as possible, concept of previous version, updated version, and a gray area for third-parties, EUM could actually know what is truly a failure. And then EUM could build an interface to send that email. That’s a lot of man hours and core investment. Best case is just to use email filters in your mail program to be honest. WordPress emails currently are the wild west.
