    Hi,
    I got the below email from WordFence. What could be the reason?

    High Severity Problems:

    * WordPress core file modified: wp-admin/network/site-users.php

    * WordPress core file modified: wp-includes/class-wp-xmlrpc-server.php

    Could you send screenshots from your scan to show some more details on this find?

    Also, can you send a diagnostic report to wftest @ wordfence . com? You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.

    I sent the Diagnostics and forward the email as well. At the latest scan, I got more WordPress core file modified records as below.

    High Severity Problems:

    * WordPress core file modified: wp-admin/admin-header.php

    * WordPress core file modified: wp-admin/includes/class-custom-background.php

    * WordPress core file modified: wp-admin/includes/class-custom-image-header.php

    * WordPress core file modified: wp-admin/includes/media.php

    * WordPress core file modified: wp-admin/includes/ms.php

    * WordPress core file modified: wp-admin/includes/template.php

    * WordPress core file modified: wp-admin/js/custom-background.js

    * WordPress core file modified: wp-admin/js/custom-background.min.js

    * WordPress core file modified: wp-admin/media-new.php

    * WordPress core file modified: wp-includes/embed.php

    * WordPress core file modified: wp-includes/meta.php

    Looks like you’re on WP 5.5.3. That could be causing these results.

    Make sure that Wordfence is up to date and run a Standard Scan. Let me know if it still detects the same results.
