I have to say, this is a really great plugin!

And I just found this one currently not support Alipay for the subscription. Because we would like to do some business with Chinese customers, and we believe if this plugin support Alipay subscription, it will really help lots of people dealing business with Chinese customers.

So I am wondering is there any chance have this function in the future? Or any code we can change by ourselves?

Hi @jiangwz,

Glad you are liking the plugin. Unfortunately Stripe’s Alipay integration does not support subscriptions at this time.

If you are using the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin, you can enable the option Manual Renewal Payments which will allow your customers to create and pay for subscriptions using Alipay.

Thank you for your reply and your advice. It looks strange because my platform shows Alipay support subscription. I checked again, found that because this need applies to stripe to approve this function.

Hi @jiangwz,

Thank you for providing that link. According to Stripe it looks like Ali Pay can support recurring payments if your account is approved.

I will take note of that for future releases of the plug-in.
