Dashboard goes blank

Hi,

Whenever I try to make a change in the dashboard, like activating a plugin for instance, I get a blank screen. I’ve been having this problem now for a few weeks and have no idea why it’s giving me a blank screen.

I’m not sure if it makes a difference, but I’m running WP locally on MAMP. I can’t do anything because I have to hit the back button to see the dashboard again, which means my update or change didn’t take place. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
