    I need some help with some unwanted image compression.
    I am using Meta Slider for some text-heavy images. Once the PNGs are displayed in the slider, they are very pixelated. But the plugin does not compress images, so I’m wondering if there is a PNG compression setting in WP that I can turn off?

    I would very much appreciate any advice.

    By default, WordPress’ compresses the images you upload for optimization.

    There are plugins that you can install to deactivate the compression. You’d have to search it for yourself as we’re not allowed to share/recommend plugins due to WordPress’ guidelines.
