    Hello!

    I was working with SiteGround, and they suggested reaching out here. Memcache is turned on in the SG dashboard, however, It is throwing an error in the plugin saying that it is not enabled on the dashboard. However, SG has confirmed it is. It also, upon refresh, mentioned that a dropin was deleted as well. Can you help me?

    Thank you!

    Тhank you for your update.

    The issue was caused by symlinks under wp-content directory pointing to non existing file:

    advanced-cache.php -> ../../../wordpress/drop-ins/advanced-cache.php
    object-cache.php -> ../../../wordpress/drop-ins/object-cache.php

    I removed them and managed to enable Memcached option normally.

    Best Regards,
    Elena
