I found another solution away from using this plug in, a bit more work, but has worked for me.
1. Install a child theme.
2. Inserted code in my functions.php file from here: https://www.businessbloomer.com/woocommerce-add-a-second-content-box-product-category-pages/

This issue has been fixed with the new plugin update. It also adds some new features like the ability to hide the description and place it manually anywhere you want through a shortcode.
