I tested this using a default theme (Storefront) and WP Job Manager and did not see the duplication issue.
It’s possible that there might be a conflict with one of your current plugins or your theme.
Try disabling all of your plugins except WP Job Manager (and add-ons). Then try testing again to see if the issue persists. If that resolves your issue, you can find what was causing it by enabling each plugin one by one while continuing to test.
If that doesn’t help, you can also try switching to the Storefront theme via Appearance > Themes, and test again. If the issue is resolved then you know it’s a problem with the theme, and you’ll need to contact the theme author for further assistance.
The Health Check plugin’s “Troubleshooting Mode” is a good way to do this without changing the frontend of your site. You can download that plugin here:

Once you’ve installed and activated the plugin, you can go to Tools → Site Health:
* Select the Troubleshooting tab and then click Enable Troubleshooting to automatically disable all plugins and add a new Troubleshooting Menu item in the toolbar at the top of the wp-admin dashboard.
* From here, you can enable and disable plugins and change the theme for your site, but without affecting normal visitors to your site.

Thanks. It was the “WP Job Manager Field Editor” plugin. The company description field had an output section which defaulted to “display below job description” – Turned this off and now only one company description displays.
