No problem, everyone is new at some point eh? I don’t provide tech support per se, as my time is unreliable…. I do my support stuff at work between jobs. Sometimes I have time, sometimes I don’t….. I just pop my ugly head in here when I have time. You can plop the url to your site down here and see if someone can take a look at your code tho.
The help here is free, its just hit or miss sometimes as to whether someone can help, as we are all volunteers who do this in spare time

errors: internet explorer 8 not showing sidebar and error messages
I’m looking at your site in IE8, and it looks fine?
you just have the one sidebar that starts with “About Russell Sarder” correct?
What error messages are you seeing?

the error icon on the bottom IE bar (right side)
Oh that, it happens on many sites. Usually seems to be javascript related.
I had that on a site of mine when I used the e-commerce plugin, no way for me to get rid of it until I switched plugins to eshop
Its probably related to one of your plugins
