• Had a pro web guy look at my website to diagnose what the issue was and it turns out this plugin. After reporting it to the plugin’s support page, all I got was useless response, telling me I should test most basic when I already made clear I already had a pro dev do the tests, only to be followed with bad attitude from the dev. Even sent him emails that he ignored. After weeks I decided this plugin is not worth it, if the dev has this bad attitude, then I can’t trust the plugin, can expect only more hassles.

    Hey.

Firstly, I would like to kindly remind you that we did not receive any specific details regarding the issue you mentioned – “breaks permalinks to certain pages after activating.” We have been unable to reproduce this issue, which is why I previously requested that you test our plugin on a fresh installation to help identify any potential conflicts with 3rd-party plugins and installed theme.

I have also asked you to try the method described in this article, as it happens in WordPress sometimes and you just need to resave Permalinks settings – https://visualportfolio.co/docs/troubleshooting/404-error-on-single-portfolio-pages/

Instead, you decide to start blaming the plugin for having a bug and author for not fixing it. You need to understand, in order to address any bugs or issues, we must first be able to reproduce them. Unfortunately, we have not been given the necessary information to do so in this case.

As for the emails you mentioned, note that support for the free plugin is provided exclusively through these forums. If you have purchased the Pro plugin, our ticket system is readily available for support.

We sincerely hope you find a suitable alternative to our plugin.

    Regards, nK.
