• After a reinstall of the apache / php server automatic wordpress / plugin update stopped working on all my wordpress installations.

When I try to update I am prompted for my ftp credentials (as before). After I enter the ftp credentials and click update (or more exactly “Fortfahren” (“resume”?) as I use the German version) the page reloads but and I get a empty page (the admin menu on the top and left side are still there but the place where the update progress should show up stays empty).

Any ideas? Thanks for any help!

    Best Peter

Btw: everything else works prefect like before the server update – the automatic update is the only problem.

Btw 2: empty page means that not even the “Upgrade Plugin / WordPress” headline appears. So the failure seams to happen between the input of the credentials and the generation of the headline + downloading message.
