Is there a way to either customize the lockout message page (“Your access to this site has been temporarily limited by the site owner”) or to redirect to a page of my choosing? I want to keep the visitors’ experience fully branded and consistent. They get really confused seeing a totally Wordfence-branded page in the wrong colors and a totally different design. thx

    Hi @lbdesign,

We currently have a development case open to work on customized block pages in the future, but we can’t comment on our exact plans for plugin updates in advance here on the forums. I’ve made a note of your request in that case as it can help track the popularity of a possible feature.

You can currently add custom text in Wordfence > All Options > Brute Force Protection > Additional Options > Custom text shown on block pages if you feel anything needs to be explained to your legitimate site visitors who may have become blocked at some point.

    Thanks,
    Peter.

Thank you for that tip. Until custom pages are ready in Wordfence, would I be able to use Wordfence in conjunction with either:
    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/guardgiant/
    or
    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/loginizer/

Because they offer more custom brute-force experiences. thx!

I’ve disabled Wordfence brute force features, and enabled WP Hide My Ghost with their brute force features, which have subtler messages. Fingers crossed…
