1. Deactivate any WP plugin or CDN/Web Hosting server caching for the UM pages.
Maybe your CDN or Web Hosting is using server side caching?
Clear your web browser local cache.

2. Look at your Browser web Console if you have any JavaScript errors.
Mouse right button click, select Inspect then Console in the Menu.
3. Try to do a Theme/Plugin conflict test if your Theme
or another Plugin is causing a conflict with UM.

Gracias por tu respuesta, ya lo he comprobado, no tengo ningún plugin de cache ningún error en consola. Me sigue permitiendo modificar el campo, y si lo oculto me lo borra

Gracias por tu respuesta, lo he probado con todos los perfiles de usuario. Solo funciona correctamente en usuarios nuevos, es decir si registro ahora un usuario si funciona. Si el usuario estaba registrado anteriormente, siempre me permite modificar el campo. He borrado la cache de usuarios.
