Error in the total sum?

    Hello Antoine, I am having an error in the total sum of points that “ranking” shows me. On the page that shows the points for each match of each “user page” they are assigned correctly, but when adding them manually it does not match what “ranking page” shows, there are extra points. Is there a patch that fixes this that I haven’t seen on the blog? I hope you can help me because there are many players and I have to fix this problem as soon as possible.     The user page shows the points per match calculated by the calc_score() method. This same method is used when calculating the ranking, so it would be very strange if different points come out. My first thoughts are that you try the following:

    1. Complete a new calculation in the admin. Does this fix the problem? If not, did the calculation exit with an error or are there any plugin related errors in your debug.log?
    2. Do you have any bonus questions that add points?
    3. Do you have any extensions running? If so, try to disable them temporarily and re-do a calculation.

    Hello Antoine! Sorry for my poor English….. Step to answer:
    1 – I perform the calculations from the recalculate buttons in the plugin options (the “automatic calculation” is not enabled, and the “simple calculation” method is enabled, as administrator, from wp-admin. It doesn’t give me any errors.
    2 – There are additional questions loaded and completed, very few got it right so most have zero points.
    3 – Only using the Football Pool Inactive Users plugin. I disabled it and I got the same results.

    As additional data Exact Win=40pts / Win=10pts / goal difference=+10pts.
    20 games have already been played.
    The 1st place has 340pts and shows me 460pts. The 2nd place has 340pts and shows me 440pts, and so on for all of them. I don’t know how to give you data so that you can do tests with my loaded data so you can see the problem. Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience.

    Can you try what happens with the normal calculation method? Note: this will take longer to complete.

    I am not going to do it now because if the calculation is done correctly I will have problems with the participants, keep in mind that there are participants who have 100 additional pts and if I deduct them it will cause discomfort… Once the tournament ends I will perform a test to see if it is the tilde of the complete calculation that you tell me and I will let you know there.
