How to delete old WP site

    Hi,

    I recently moved my website to Wix and deleted it from ww.wp.xz.cn. But when I do an organic search on Google, the old URL still comes up, although it links to a 404 page. Is there anything I can do to either a) redirect the old URL to my new one (www.communitysolutions.ca) (I originally tried but it said the names were to similar) or b) somehow delete the old URL permanently?

    There is no WordPress there. Your domain points to Wix as it is. Their hosting systems are responsible for everything that happens underneath. You would therefore need to contact their support.

    Search engines usually need some time to recognize the changes. This also depends on how well the new pages can be indexed and how well-known your website is on the web. Your new host is also responsible for helping you here. If you have any questions, please contact Wix Support to see if they can help.
