The Forminator upload doesn’t work
-
Hi. Thank you for a great plugin!
In a simple form the upload is functional and ok.
But in the forms on this site the upload-function does not allow me to pick a file or to drag a file. What is wrong?
The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi @david2024
I hope you are doing well today.
The first thing I see on that page is that the form is placed in a hidden box and you need to action any of those 2 buttons to show the form in the first place. I see some errors in the browser console.
- Please download Forminator and re-upload all files and folders via FTP or file manager in cPanel to:
/wp-content/plugins/forminatorand see if that helps. - If the above does not help, please place same form on test page and see can you replicate same issue.
- If the above also will not help, deactivate all plugins except Forminator and check if the problem is gone. If so, then enable all plugins one by one and find which one is having a conflict. If there is no positive result, switch to the default WordPress theme like 2019, and see if it works. Before this test, we recommend full site backup or running this test on the staging site.
Kind Regards,
KrisThx for your answer!
Well, I’ve now tested the plugin on a different site and it seems there is a bug that make it difficult to combine the Calculation-field with the Upload-file-field. When I take away the Calculation-field the file upload is functioning when I put Calculation back the file-upload stops working.
If you check now without calcultaion-fields:
What should I do?

Hello @david2024,
Thank you for letting us know the result of testing the form. I could not replicate this on a lab site.
Could you please export the form with both the upload and calculation fields, and share it via Google Drive, Dropbox, or a similar service, in order for us to test it.
Please also check if the issue persists with Twenty-Twenty Four, or another default WordPress theme.
Best Regards,
DmytroHi @david2024,
Since we haven’t heard from you for a while. I’ll mark this thread as resolved for now. Please feel free to re-open this thread if you need any further assistance.
Kind Regards
NithinYour suggestions did not help so I hade to take away the fileupload function.
But still it seems to be the Calculation function that creates the problem, I just today sent a support question on the same form again.
What could be the problem with the Calculation field that makes other functions don’t work?Hello @david2024
The issue is most probably related to a conflict but we can’t help much without seeing the form setup.
Could you please export the test form and share it with us using a third-party free storage website like Google Drive?
additionally, it would be appreciated if you could share the page URL where your form is added so we can take a closer look.

AminGood, it is the same page as I wrote about some months ago: https://www.renthus.se/start-2024/
On that page there are two forms one functions with no Calc-field and one not function with calc field:

Hello @david2024,
Thank you for sending the form exports. I’ve tested both of them on a lab site with Divi and Complainz, but couldn’t reproduce any similar issues.
When I test the forms on your page, I can replicate the following error message when submitting the first form: https://prnt.sc/hYJLVlzNsTxU
Please accept cookies so we can validate your request with reCaptcha, and submit this formThis might be happening due to a conflict with another theme or plugin, and in such cases running a conflict test on the staging site may help narrowing it down.
Since I see you’ve also submitted your support request on wpmudev.com site regarding this issue, and our techs are already checking it, please expect further feedback in the corresponding thread there.
Best Regards,
Dmytro - Please download Forminator and re-upload all files and folders via FTP or file manager in cPanel to:
