Since November MainWP has lost its connection to all my websites that use the MainWP Child plugin, this is approximately 60 sites. Most of them are on Siteground and they have tried to investigate the issue. They have looked to see if the IP address for where MainWP is located is blocked, but it isn’t. I have deactivated plugins, cleared cache to see if that’s the trouble, but it is not that either. I have a few sites on the same server as MainWP and those have lost connection as well.

Affinity Pr Coaching is on Siteground

Ageing with Optimism is on Zen

    Thanks for your help

    Hey @bloohair

Usually this indicates that a security rule used by the host of these child sites is blocking the connection from your MainWP Dashboard.

Would you mind opening a private Help Desk ticket so we can collect some additional information & investigate further? https://mainwp.com/my-account/get-support/

The issue was due to the security rules present on the child sites (e.g. SiteGround’s Captcha) blocking the connection from the Dashboard.

The issue was resolved by whitelisting the Dashboard’s IP/URL in the respective security systems.
