I paid for and downloaded the latest version of pro 2.16.1 and no zip file, can’t install…been contacting Masteriyo all day No response it’s feeling kinda scamish to me…they were awesome until i paid and now no support!? WTF?
ok so I have upgraded from 1 to 3 because the company, did in fact finally get back to me at which point they were very helpful and accommodating. I strongly advise that the company remove the customer chat feature showing it’s available when it’s not available, an 8 hour delay in chat service is beyond unacceptable, the point to having chat service is to have fast access to service. If your not able to provide that then don’t offer it, and stick with an on site submission form which people will expect and understand up to 24 hour turn around.
another suggestion would be to bolster your FAQ for common technical issues such as Safari automatically unzipping files, which many people use Mac books, if your aware of this issue and give how common safari is these days maybe avoid this issue all together by updating your FAQ.
anyway, I have upgraded this review, they have immediately processed the refund request and honoured their Guarantee, so that was worth upgrading and noting.
my only advice is if you have a time sensitive project, keep in mind that at the moment if your in North America using this product expect or budget at least 9 hour time delays in support. If you know that going into the purchase then you won’t have any issues. I may reconsider this product in the future on less time sensitive projects as they do have a host of nice to have features at a reasonable price.
