I’m working on a development site, not a live one, and upgraded to 3.0.4 this morning. Now I notice that when I add new pages, the Page Attributes box offers no template choice. If I publish the page and go to Quick Edit to choose a page template, there is only the Default Template listed.

This behavior is the same in Firefox, Safari, and Chrome.

I can fix it through the database by editing the wp_postmeta table, but geez louise what a hack to have to do on all new pages.

Bug? What happened? and most importantly, how do I fix it without downgrading to 3.0.3?

Update to add: must have been a server glitch. The dropdowns mysteriously reappeared.

I have the same problem in 3.04 – not realy sure when they dissapeared as I haven’t added any new pages in a while. There seem to be lots of posts about this issue that crops up in many different wordpress versions, but not many solutions. Anyone got an answer?
