Notifying users when new content

Hi there! We are looking for a plugin for a client that needs to offer a private area to their subscribers where notifications will be sent when a new content was created by Administartors.

He needs to create different kinds of roles also groups, and we need to know if a notification (via email) will be sent by your plugin to those users when the new content was created on private area.
