Hey, I’m using the LiteSpeed Cache plugin, and thanks to this, my website speed has improved. But there’s one issue—after installing the plugin, I’m facing a problem on mobile where my homepage doesn’t load; it just keeps buffering until I touch the screen (like tapping or scrolling). This isn’t happening on desktop, and everything works fine on PC. I’ve faced the same problem before, and it went away after deactivating the plugin—but whenever I enable it again, the same mobile loading issue comes back. Could you please help me figure out what might be causing this? You can see it in the image I sent.

To debug the issue further, please send a report and share the ID.
Report can be generated from LSC => Toolbox => Report and click on “Send to Litespeed”

I checked the site, tried to reproduce what you described:
I saw that on mobile it stay in loading, but if you touch the screen it will show the page.
Same behaviour happens on desktop, BUT it can be reproduced only if you do not move mouse on page.

It happens because of JS Delay is stopping all JS until interaction is happening. You can exclude the loader JS using this setting: https://docs.litespeedtech.com/lscache/lscwp/pageopt/#js-deferreddelayed-excludes
    In your case: https://aniground.com/wp-content/themes/sydney/js/functions.min.js

Thank you for your reply. I really appreciate it. I’ve sent a report to LiteSpeed Cache; please check it. I also made some changes in the Page Optimization section yesterday, which you can see in the image. Do you suggest that I turn off ‘Load JS Deferred’? Sorry, I’m not very technical.

you have enabled cloudflare page cache, please disable it first

@souravjj4 when clearing WP cache and there is CF cache on, make sure you clear both, or disable CF for the moment, to make sure we can debug easy.

Hey, thanks for your reply. Do you want me to set my CF cache to ‘Bypass’?

Edit: I have enabled Development Mode (which stops CF cache temporarily) and cleared all CF cache and LiteSpeed cache. CF caching is now disabled for debugging.

it seems besides cloudflare page cahce , you have other cache in place as well ?

some features on our plugin is NOT compatible with other caching

I don’t think so, you can see my plugin list as well. Also, the CF page cache was temporarily disabled, bypassing the cache for 3 hours (it might be active again now). Do you suggest that I turn off ‘Load JS Deferred’?

set dev mode is not enough , you need to make sure CF only caches your static resources, but not to cache your pages

    what’s other 3 x-....-cache about ?

and cache-contro: should be no-cache, max-age=0, must-revalidate to make sure browser doesn’t cache your page

    Thread Starter souravjj4

    (@souravjj4)

Sorry about that, but even I don’t know what those other 3 x-....-cacheheaders are about (maybe hosting provider cache?). I’m not very technical with these caching systems. Can you help me stop those caches and make the changes, or guide me through the steps and help me solve my mobile buffering problem?

    Edit: maybe this?

you still have cloudflare page cache … it is interfering us from further checking when it caches page…

    Thread Starter souravjj4

    (@souravjj4)

I’ve created a Page Rule to bypass all Cloudflare caching. CF should no longer cache any pages now. Everything is working very well, and I want to thank you all very much @qtwrk @litetim . Is there anything else you suggest me to avoid? Is it safe to connect to QUIC.cloud CDN?

Oh yes, I just noticed that I’m facing the same problem again on mobile😭. What else can I do now? I’ve also disabled the CF cache for pages.
