    Hello team !

We use EWWW Image Optimizer with CookieBot.
When lazyload is activated the images don’t display if users refuses Cookies. I had to disable lazyload in EWWW settings.

Do you know why and how to make it work together?

    Thank you
    Regards

    Hi @pyho

Someone had a similar issue a couple of years ago with CookieBot and I’m assuming it’s still the same issue. It appears as if they mark lazy loader scripts as “marketing” and don’t allow them to run until or unless cookies are accepted. I would recommend contacting them about this as a useful script such as lazy loading should not be considered a marketing script (and disabling lazy load isn’t a viable option either). As they are marking the scripts, there isn’t anything we can do on our end to avoid this.

I’m going to resolve this thread. If you have any other questions about this or anything else, please feel free to open a new one.
