Front page sharing buttons

Im looking ot enable the share buttons such as facebook, twitter, stumble upon etc on my homepage. However i cant seem to get them to work when i enable post excerpt.
They buttons show up and work when you click on the actual post but not in the excerpt on the frontpage.

Is there any way i can get this to work?
