Database selected error

    How come it keeps telling me that No Database is selected when I’ve already selected my database.
    what seems to be the problem here???????

    Did you copy wp-config.sample.php to wp-config.php and edit it to match your settings?
    You put your own user, password, and database name in there.

    where is this wp-config.sample.php located at?????

    It is part of the distribution. When you unzipped the files, wp-config.sample.php is one of the files. You have to copy is to wp-config.php (or rename it) and modify the database settings in there to match your database.
