Hello,

I’m very new to WP so thanks in advance. We have a company website running on wordpress.com it has it’s own domain name and is being hosted by 1and1. It was there before I started. I now need to update it so I bought a theme on themeforest but don’t know how to change to ww.wp.xz.cn. It is installed on my computer from the previous designer as she created a ww.wp.xz.cn site for a different client.

I uploaded the theme using filezilla but don’t know what to do now… sorry I have been researching just don’t know where to start…

Thanks, I have been reading through them I just don’t get am i supposed to get a new ww.wp.xz.cn account for the wordpress.com site and how do I do that?

WordPress.com is a hosted blogging service based, of course, on WordPress. You can register and open your blog, choosing from a variety of themes. It’s running the latest version of WordPress.

ww.wp.xz.cn is the site where you can download WordPress, themes and plugins and install it in your own server.

Hi, thanks for your help… I think I found some info on my question (or found how to ask the question!)….

My confusion was about the fact that ww.wp.xz.cn had been downloaded and then uploaded to our 1and1 server as it is used to host a seperate ww.wp.xz.cn site for a client… but I now need to set up another one for our own site and set up a separate database…. I think?
