inserting image into post / image not displaying!

Hi!

Newbie leading a newbie here!!!!

I put up my WordPress blog a couple of weeks ago. Now my dad is trying to do one, and he can’t get an image to display in a post.

He’s using the Default theme. So am I.

When I want to insert an image, I click on a button that says Img, put the URL in the pop up window, and I’m set.

He says he doesn’t have that same button on his Write Post screen. In fact, I emailed him a screen grab of the screen I use to write posts, and he says he doesn’t even have the same screen.

Anybody have any idea what’s going on?

Friday the 13th has passed, so we’ve ruled that out 🙂
