We don’t know why your website is behaving like that, as we don’t have access to commercial themes. This query ought to be asked to the theme’s vendors. DIY Themes?
is there a contact details for them?

I tried searching on their website, but I couldn’t find any.
Perhaps their contact details are only apparent when logged in?

Don’t use Thesis? π
Kidding. When you switch to the Twenty Eleven theme does the issue go away? If it does and you don’t have any plugins activated then you need to seek help at the vendor’s site.

Also that is an ancient, outdated, probably not supported by them anymore version of a commercial theme. If you paid for it then you really need to get the current version.
If you downloaded that from one of the many sites on the Internet then you may want to examine your site closely for hacks. Those download sites are E-V-I-L.
i get a different error now

You switched to the Twenty Twelve theme but have you also deactivated all of your plugins as well?
try:
– resetting the plugins folder by using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
– re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder from a fresh download of WordPress. by using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. (manual upgrade)
If the problem goes away then reactivate each plugin one at a time to find the problem.

It’s apparently 2 different problems with 2 different error messages. You need to stick with one or we won’t be able to help you at all.
You’ve switched back to that old Thesis theme and now have the original error message. We can’t help you with that one, you need to get help from the vendor where you purchased that theme.
Sorry, but that’s how it is for that Thesis problem.
If you use the Twenty Twelve theme you get a totally different message. To solve that one you need to make sure that your installation is good and that requires following the steps above to identify where your problem is for that issue.
